Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Django Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a final-year student to gain hands-on experience in a professional Agile environment. You will work under the guidance of senior developers to build, test, and maintain features for our live projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side logic using Python and Django.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Help in integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection protocols.
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Collaborate with the team using Git for version control.

Who We Are Looking For (Required Skills)

• A solid understanding of Python core concepts.
• Familiarity with the Django web framework (Models, Views, Templates, Forms, ORM).
• Basic understanding of databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Knowledge of fundamental front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript).
• Understanding of RESTful API principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• A strong problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Any personal projects or contributions to open-source projects (please share your GitHub link!).
• Knowledge of Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Basic understanding of deployment processes (any exposure to AWS, Heroku, Docker is a plus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest).
